Double Bass Engelhardt m-3 vs kay m-3

I have the chance to pick up a 1965 Kay M-3 with a neck repair that is flawless. It would be $400, seem good, bad?
I currently have a Engelhardt M-3 so I am used to the 1/4 scale. I would love a decent 3/4 but am not in the $$ for one. I would be selling my Englehardt for the Kay. Any opinion would be greatly appreciated. I am new to the URB so i appreciate all of your input.

Thank you

I own these because I live in an apartment, have a two door car and not a lot of money. Thank you for the input about the Kay, like I said maybe in the future when I have more money and Am A better upright player a more expensive will be in my picture.

I got the bass, it's pretty cool, sounds almost identical to the engl. Now I'm stuck with shod I keep the engl and resell the Kay or sell the engl and keep the Kay? Also anyone have any ideas of a fairly affordable string for these basses? I spent 250 on one and $320 on the other so it's hard to spend another $400 on strings.

Here she is, I kept the Kay and got rid of the engelhardt.
