Thought some might appreciate seeing and hearing this Sunn coliseum rig... It's a clone of Entwistle early 70's bass rig. Wow, you take your tribute band stuff seriously! That is some rig, dude! Looks brand new, too. How do you keep it looking so good playing out? If you say roadcases, I sure hope you hired a road crew!
That rig looks phenomenal!! Love the mic stand drinks bottles too, that's attention to detail. I'd hate to have to do your load in, though. Can you say "chiropractor"? EDIT: Just watched your Youtube videos, you guys are absolutely fantastic!!
+1 Thats fricken awesome Do you guys have a website or something we can find out about were your playing?
Thanks... I try to keep them covered and take my time loading in my equipment; although there are a few dings here and there... Yes, I need roadcases!!! ...I made the jacket, thanks! Thanks!!! Our website is: http://www.livethewho.com
It's a shame the sound man is micing it with a single Senn 609 though! You should INSIST on getting three channels with three mic on the board. I've had to battle for my space with the drummer on the mixing board but it's worth it once the sound man understands that kind of thing is not about efficentcy but instead, EXCESS! ( and if you tell me you're taking a direct line out for the lows then...I.... will.... cry)
You Betcha!! Those guys could ROCK back in the day!!! I was working A&R for an LA label (Dunhill) and we thought about signing them before "that other" outfit grabbed them.... It was a shame....I expected BIG things out of them but they just sort of fizzled.....too bad, but a story we've all heard a million times.... I alway wondered how the hell he kept those Kustom cabinets standing....they were pretty "wild" shall we say?
