Have never tried them but I know Tanglewood use them in their active version of the Rebel 4K , dont know if that is any help

Alan Entwistle is the guy behind Alden guitars, a lot of beautiful designs but really inexpensive (made in Korea)

There's a lovely looking Alden short-scale hollowbody on eBay right now

The Aldens are getting a decent name as a budget brand over here - a bit like SX over there.

I used a set of Entwistle-White Strat pups several years ago. They were monorails with a low output but *very* authentic-sounding. That's my only experience.

If I was building another '57 Strat, I'd seriously consider them.
