Envelope Filter (Touchwah) and Octaver in a single Source Audio pedal?

I got the Spectrum yesterday and briefly fiddled with the Neuro app. So far I like it. Even the gated fuzz is great, which is a nice surprise.
We put way too many things in our pedals. Who buys an envelope filter pedal for the high quality distortions?

Pedal board real estate is a king in this case :(
Not wishing to derail the thread, but there’s a mini FI version coming.

@bassbrad is right though - for octave and envelope filter stuff, the C4 and Spectrum are much more suitable than the FI, sound great, more varied and much easier to dial in.

I'm about to get the spectrum again because I really missed the envelope sounds... and never felt like I really took advantage of the octave sounds.

My problem before was that I didn't know what I wanted and felt a little overwhelmed and like I was wasting it if I didn't use all the sounds. This time around, I'm really just going to use the envelope and octave effects. Make those as useful for me as possible and not worry about the crazy stuff.

I just picked up, I think, my 6th Spectrum. I buy them, get frustrated with trying to implement MIDI, and sell them. I’m really going to try hard and keep this one, because it really does everything I need as far as FX go.

What's the advantage of the adapter (or two?) over the Hub?
I might be using 3 SA pedals on my board soon.
If you only have one SA pedal and want midi, it's a good way to go. Otherwise, the Hub has much more to offer: "scenes" (multi pedal presets) and shared expression pedal control.

Everything mentioned is good stuff but here is another one. Electro-Harmonix Bass Micro Synth.

Use the trigger for the touch part. Has a great sounding octaver. Resistance control for your (Q)uack. Start/Stop for direction frequencies. And lastly sweep rate for the overall decay

In listening to the Spectrum, as Roger mentioned, the distortions and Octave sounds are very badass. And this was why I decided to use it over the MXR Poly Blue Octave. There are differences, but basically, the quality of the distortion over the available "Blue Box" are more appealing, as well as, all the other advanced features. Also, the music could well benefit from judicious use of filter effects, historically not a sound I lean into.

Source Audio does make flexibility, connectivity & sonic performance in a small box with ,stereo!

I had that pedal, but it is very finicky in regards of "preserving" any sound as the faders are prone to move easily during setup and transport (even in a case)

I thought that I would mention this feature set, too. When looking at Spectrum in the chain to replace a pedal. I didn't have a two channel situation to work with. This particular pedal, similarly to the SA trio of distortion pedals, has the ability to use #2 as an effects loop that is variable placement inside the Spectrum effects system with mono output.

I have three mono analog pedals in the front end of this sound system (with "Octave") before the Two Notes Opus. I am interested in checking out the benefits of bringing these three analog pedals into the SA system with connection to the Spectrum from my P Bass. I am not going to be necessarily using all three all at once at all times.

One Control Crimson Red Preamp
Mooer FOG Bass Fuzz (Mammoth)
Pigtronix Philosophers Bass Micro Compressor

I would expect some benefit to this arrangement, at the very least, being inside a Midi control system. We'll see...
