Envelope filter

Ebs bass iq was my go to for a long time but recently took a back seat to the 3leAf audio proton.
I use an old beat up Digitech Bass Synth Wah pedal. Not the best one out there but it does what a filter's supposed to do plus some strange synthy stuff that, to my surprise, I've found a use for. It's also very affordable, easy to obtain, and takes up as much real estate on a pedalboard as a Boss-type stomp.
I use the digitech bass synth wah, the Ibanez sb7 and a rocktron heartattack . I use and blend them from 1-3 on or off . It gives me some great sounds. I also just got a wah and with the 4 going, it sounds insane.

For now, only the BSW is on the board for next month's gig because I use it as an octaver as well and I don't have use for the others (and I'm using a small board). I mostly use the BSW and the Cry Baby.

Don't get involved with filters. It's a drug, man. Nothing good comes from them....next thing you know, you have 5 or 6 of them on your pedal board, trying to rationalize that you need more. Don't do it man, don't.
agree, lol. Ive only started using effects and im already up to 3 of them and am looking at the behringer one, electro harmonics, and the boss one.
I use both, the BSW and The M82. Really two different concepts. The MXR is the funkster, the Digitech is a snarling beast lurking and waiting to rip your throat out and then show you the hole. (It really does need a volume knob)
I've got an EHX micro-Qtron and its good, but not great. I'm sure if you got the model up with more controls then it would be a great pedal. Don't get me wrong, I really like the sound I get from it, but it just isn't quite as easy to fine tune as I had hoped.
Would you please tell me how the DOD Fx 25 and FX25 b are ? Are they any good ? Which one ?
I have a Mutron lll, an Agent 00Funk (the original one) and in my old Boss ME-6B there's an envelope follower. Each has different properties and tones so they all get use.

I love my Groove Regulator as well, and am adding a Source Audio BEF Pro soon, to enhance, not replace. I also have a Crybaby 105q, though I don't think of it as an envelope filter, I use it in a traditional wah way. I also have a Moog Bass MuRF that in some settings I use for an envelope type sound, but also use it for phasing, distortion, and synth beats. Putting the MuRF before my Groove Regulator makes for some awesome sonic textures, as does having my Source Audio Multiwave Bass Distortion Pro before the MuRF.
As stated above, adding one envelope filter can lead to adding others very easily.
