Epifani Piccalo Amp-anyone else looking forward to its release?

very true ken,

i feel liek this is a whole diffeent game though, it only makes sense for epifani to push the release of a lightweight, small sized, ultra portable 500 watt head to compete with the current trends by other manufacturers in the market currently. They already were heading in the right direction as all of their heads were already on the lighter side.

the 902 was something completely different and i can sort of understand the potential concerns and problems that may have occurred leading up to its rumored release, being an absolute monster of an amp. this in no way excuses the constant leading on, in my opinion, but still, i find it to be somewhat understandable. i just feel that the micro amp market is where its at right now for real gear heads and actively gigging musicians, so i would hope that nick and the guys at epifani would do their best to make for a quick release!

on a sidenote....did anyone get to play the demo piccalo at namm that is pictured above?

also, thanks for all the input everyone!!!

i exchanged emails a few months ago with some guys at epifani, and they said that it would be released in the fall. musicians friend has the ps 400 and ps1000 listed for sale, but says they wont be shipping until early/mid october....the piccolo isnt listed though.

just curious, how much did bass central offer them for presale?
