The problem is that the head was announced at a price of $999 almost before it was actually available in stores. Then right after it became available, the price is bumped - it just doesn't look good. In the post talking about this a few days ago guys were pretty upset over it. It seems to me that the whole problem could have been avoided if the original marketing didn't mention the price of $999. The price shouldn't be announced until the product is available.
Yep. If I was looking at this head, it'd make me stop looking. Pretty bad marketing and decision if you ask me. Especially because, at least based on the posts I read, the price is being raised just because Nick thinks the head is worth more than he was originally charging.
