Epifani UL210

I almost bought that cab (assuming it's the same one). The carpet was kinda fuzzy and worn on the outside, correct?

If so, I tried that cab and as soon as I started giving it any real volume, the speakers got all distorted and fuzzed out. Cones are toast in it.

It's the only Epi 210 they had at that location, so I'm pretty certain that you bought the same cab I looked at a few weeks ago. If that's the case, you should return it as it's going to cost you $300+ to get replacement speakers from Epi and then it's not such a great deal anymore...

Hmm...you are right sir. I put it thru its paces today and the cones fuzzed out pretty significantly (not on anything below the 7th fret). They told me all sales were final, but they should never had a faulty piece of equipment on the floor in the first place. Someone's gonna get hurt over this. Badly.

Imagine that. GC hosing someone over on a piece of equipment.

$200 is *way* too low. Drive over there and talk to the manager. NOW. And write a letter to the GM of Guitar Center while you're at it:

Good luck!
