UPDATE!!! Just took her to my Tech and he did a complete service and cleaning of EVERYTHING including new strings, this thing plays AWESOME.I've never heard harmonics ring so clearly on ANY bass before.SCROLL DOWN FOR NEW PICS--->>>from the ones I put up last night.

can be ssen using the original in the movie “Don’t knock the Twist”



It’s based on the old Epiphone Crestwood design

You are correct the one pictured is a 70s MIJ re-issue with a bolt on neck.

It's not an Embassy, although it does have the twin pickups. They sold these as the Coronet bass.

So "TonyFranklinFan" you're saying that this is a Coronet and not a Crestwood? I've had one for several years. The guy I bought it from said he thought it was a Crestwood. I would appreciate any info that you can pass along. Thanks

Oren..The Crestwoods have a different head stock on them, more like a traditional look.The Coronet's are the one pictured above.They are slightly close in body shape and pickups.
