Epiphone Embassy Pro's Coming back??

You could do worse for $399. Make sure there's a good return policy, as there have been qc issues with some of these. I recently sold my cream color one i bought about 3 years ago. It was a very good one in all aspects, but i had stopped playing it regularly. (Always need to make room for the next one).
The Embassy Pro is the must-have Epiphone, the normal gateway into their wacky lineup.

Not saying the new ones have this problem, but I haven't heard anything about Epiphone correcting the issue.

I talked to them when i got mine,and told them if it had issues,it would get sent right back.
They sent me a good one.

It looks like my 2017 Embassy Pro, which is supposed to be ok, I saw photos of worse ones. Still my E and A saddles are all the way back, the A properly intonated but the E still on the sharp side, although acceptably so.
My nut began disintegrating the first time I loosened and changed the strings. The open strings still play fine but if the nut keeps losing chips it will have to be changed.
Otherwise a beautiful instrument with unique tone, long scale that feels compact and light.

Still Squier basses are better built and more ergonomic, the bridges saddles and truss rods easier to adjust.
It appears from the Sweetwater photo that there is sufficient room for adjusting the bridge saddles, assuming the bass is set up close to correct intonation, so they should be fine. When I bought mine, the E string saddle was all the way back while the other three had/have room for adjustment, but it was (and still is) in perfect tune. You'd like to think they wouldn't have made another run of these with this issue.
It seems that there was a bad batch made late 2018, where the bridge position was slightly out. Making it impossible to intonate the E & A strings accurately. I think mine fell in this category... However, I took it to my trusted luthier, who used the old Gibson trick of reversing the saddles on the E & A & the intonation is now spot on!... I contacted the dealership that I had bought it from, who were very helpful... They even refunded me the cost of my luthier!
I sincerely hope you're right, but still not convinced. I'm waiting for these new batch Embassy basses to get into some TB members' hands and hear what they have to say.
It would be unbelievable that this isn't fixed. The otherwise very popular Embassy Pro had to be discontinued in 2019 presumably because of this problem. This relaunch is even renamed Embassy (no Pro) to distance it a little.
The Embassy could easily become Epiphone's most popular and uncontroversial bass.
