Epiphone Thunderbird and Blackbird PU location?

I compared the pickups and location on a Gibson Blackbird(GBB), an Epiphone Blackbird (EBB) and a regular Epiphone Thunderbird(ETB). I found that the Gibson and the Epiphone Blackbird had similar pickup spacing ( rear pickup aprox. 1 3/8 inches from the bridge) but were different pickups. The Epiphone Thunderbird(ETB) had the same pick up covers as the DeepSixx pickups, but they were upside down (two screws on top and one on the bottom). The rear pickup was also aprox. 1 1/2 inches from the bridge. The front pickup on the Epiphone Thunderbird was almost 1/2 an inch closer to the bridge when compared to the Epiphone Thunderbird (ETB).

What are your findings and any thoughts on how this might effect the tone?

Could someone check a Goth Epiphone and post some info?

Thank you for the photo!

I can see that the goth pickups are installed with 2 screws on the bottom like the blackbird is. I compared the Goth to the blackbird in the store and the Goth sounded like it was under a blanket. I'm trying to find out why so I can make my Epiphone Thunderbird sound more like the Blackbird.
