Epiphone Thunderbird IV Fretless Conversion

Has anyone converted one of these before. I just want to Know whether or not it will work.

I haven't, but why do You think it wouldn't work just the same as in any other bass?

Who knows, removing the frets might help reduce headstock droop/neck dive.

Yes Thunderbirds make very good fretless basses. My main at the moment, is one I have been working on, I love it.

NOS TB gibson pick up, body and neck stripped down to the wood

Since have trimmed body so I can easily reach all the way up the fretboard. Still working on the neck profile so I can get it right before I finish it... if... I know it's ugly, but light as a feather now.
