Epoxied and Torted Fury

I finished my refurb of a 94 Peavey fretless Fury:
> Made a tort pickguard and TRC
> Replaced hacked up headstock label with an older version that I like
> Rewired and shielded electronics
> Epoxied fingerboard
> Tru-Oiled neck

Nice bass I think Peavey is a decent and under rated brand,when Im out and about and dont get the chance to research something Peavey(and Yamaha) always seem to be safe purchases

I still miss my Peavey Patriot that was stolen many moons ago. It is essentially this bass with the Peavey humbucker instead of the split P.

Exactly. Rolled it over a bar while heating - real easy.

Pulled the Peavey logo from the web.
The other lettering is done in MS Word with imported fonts.
Printed it out on Stickyback Vellum.
Put on about 10-coats of varnish and 30-coats of Tru-Oil – fine-sanded much of that off to get a smooth headstock finish.

Sure: Used a scroll saw to cut the shape. Then used a combination of a bench grinder and a dremel with a grinder bit to get the edges flowing and smooth. Then manually beveled it at around 45-degrees to get the white edge to pop out. Used the bench grinder and dremel to do the beveling too. Used a box cutter blade and file a few times to shave places where I wanted a straight edge, like at the neck and pickups.
