EQ’ing changes for flatwounds

What's up fellas. I'm curious if any of you guys find yourself changing the EQ on your amps when you switch/use flat wounds as compared to rounds. So you like to scoop or accentuate the mids more or less? Pull back on the bass or treble more than you normally would? I was experimenting with some radically different settings last night (contour knob way up or trebble turned most of the way down etc.) and was enjoying the results and it made me wonder if folks tend to leave their EQ as is when changing to flats from rounds.

I have 2 basses I use live, 1 with rounds, one with flats. I expect that they are going to sound different, as even between different brands of flats there are differences. I set up my default gear settings for flats, which I use 90+% of the time these days. When I use the stainless bass, I have a pedal that I have set up to get that bass where I want it, so I never touch the amp.

I tend to set everything fairly flat and then, if necessary, bump some upper mids for flats or cut some highs or upper mids for rounds, but I don't really do anything unless I hear something that's either bugging me (too much) or seems insufficient (to little).

I use only moderate EQ on anything.

I might turn the bass knob down a tad for basses with flats, but I usually bring only one bass to my gigs and I do it under protest
