Have you had the chance to talk bass w/Eric Avery, and what's your impression of the re-united Jane's?
I found them to be tremendously influential in my musical development. Were they an influence of yours?
BTW, incredibly cool of you to keep this channel open with your fellow bassists and fans.

Not really "talk bass", per se. We are friendly on a more personal acquaintance level, lots of mutual friends, etc. He's a good guy. Janes? Huge influence on me. For sure.

Saw their show for the first time last night, it was utterly spectacular. They are in tremendous form. Not to be missed, in fact.
