My go to string on the Stingray is the Slinky Stainless Steels, which have become my favorite SS string. Sleeper strings IMO.

Here is another webcast I did last week, I was on the same show a month or so earlier and posted that I think in another thread. Stingray->Alma comp->BDDI v2, the Slinky’s are fully broken in. Fast forward 3min+ to get past the show opener stuff. Last 3 tunes we did were better imo, warmed up more, and the electric drums take some getting used to but are required backline for the show.

I also tried a set of regular 5 string slinky's which were only $22 at GC. I did not really want to put the Pure Blues, because I am even thinking of moving this bass. It had Dunlop Super Brights Marcus Miller's which I put in there when I got the bass last summer (did not really use the bass a lot) and aside from the new zing which I know will go away, the remarkable thing is the B string on the EBs. They sound perfect for this bass and I remember when I had a 2 band about 5 years ago, when I put the same regular slinkys.
