Pickups under the bridge legs sounds boomy with lot of low frequency.
Fingerboard needs some anti- buzz work.

It is an EUB, actually. Small bodied with a pickup, similar in concept to the Eminence and BSX Allegro.

Looks like he doesn't like it very much though...

What's that block on the upper left bout about? The glue issue is one of the biggest downers. I removed a neck block on a Gewa student bass a few years ago. It was about the nastiest experience of my life.
