Double Bass EUB stand advice please!

Hello anyone!
I'm kinda nubie here, mostly reader not poster.
So I've got a question for ya'll. I ordered a 6-string EUB at local luthier which made a 34' 4-string for me couple of years ago. That 4-string was really good for pizz and arco but when I tried to make a stand for it, I've got some problems. Actually, stand becomes a part of resonant system together with body and strings and the whole instrument aquires new properties such as rattling sound, some dead notes and less "presence" in sound. When I detach the stand and play it sitting everything's just fine.
So I want to ask for some help. I want to create a detachable stand that will not affect the sound. Any help and advice is highly appreciated.

If you buy a fairly "good" camera tripod (not a $20 walmart one) and attach the mount to the back of the bass, it works rather well.IIRC, the last time I had a look at a Kydd, it was pretty much a modified tripod.

Hey Max. Jesse at Ergo uses heavy duty ride cymbal stands and that has worked well for me.

The top bit on the Ergo stand is glued in (I recently glued mine back in as it had come loose). The pearl tom holder is probably more solid and it will also give you more choices in adjusting the bass, like slightly leaning the bass sideways towards the player.

Thank you guys for responses! I decided to go with foto stand, I've found aluminium one with fully adjustible metal head at local shop for about 130$. The stand has sliding plate which can be screwed to the bass with some gum spacer in between. I'll post here when the bass will be ready.
