eventide pedals question

i currently don't have any of the eventide stompboxes, but i am highly considering them. is there a way to have an effect like quadravox on and run it through spacedrive and only have the spacedrive change the pitch bent notes? any help would be greatly appreciated.

In order to sum it all back to one amp input, I think you'd need an external splitter/mixer like the Boss LS2. You would set the pitch effect's output to 100% wet, feeding in to the second effect unit, and that one would then get recombined with your clean signal in the mixer.

They was my assumption but I just wanted to be sure. My local store doesn't keep the pedals in stock and if I'm gonna drop that type of coin I need to know.

Depends on what you mean by "stereo input", and how you hook everything up.

If the first Eventide is able to send dry and wet signals to separate outputs, then you don't need an external splitter. But if it can't, then you do. Either way, the 100% wet channel is going through the second Eventide, and then you have two mono channels, one wet and one dry.

If you have a mixer with a stereo input that's a single TRS jack, then you need to get a special Y cable to go from 2x TS (mono) to 1x TRS (stereo).

If you have an amp that has two channels that mix to one speaker box, then there's your mixer, you don't need another one.

at least that's how my modfactor works.
almost sure the other pedals work in the same way.

Try heading over to the guitar center in somerville, I recall seeing some eventide pedals over in their minimalist accessories section. Prymaxe isn't too far from us either.

i have not been to prymaxe yet. i will have to check it out. i called eventide (they are also in new jersey) and they told me that i would have to use an a/b switch to achieve a clean signal through the chain. thanks for your help everyone.

I have both Space and the Pitchfactor, and this is correct for them as well. The outputs are meant for the effects to be run in stereo, not for one wet the other dry.
