Ever heard of Swing basses?

Does anyone here have any experience with basses form swing guitar technology?

It's a Korean brand tha claims to make top quality instruments and spares nog costs in doing so.

I've ordered a bad skin series ltd jazz bass.

It comes with a pair of seymour duncan vintage pickups and wilkinson bridge. It has an alder body with maple burled top, maple neck with rosewood fretboard.

I'm very excited to play it. It shure looks nice .

Looks and sounds pretty nice. I was unable to find the model you ordered on their web site. Where did you find pricing??
I really liked the look of the Red Jazz in the custom shop.

I don't know about pricing. I live in Belgium and I've ordered it from a Dutch internetshop. I payed it 450€. Not bad I guess for a bass with duncans, a wilkinson bridge and a massive burled top. I will give a review and post better photos and soundclips when I've received the bass.

Maybe you can contact the usa distributor?

The custom shop guitars go for about 1400€ here in Belgium/Holland. Not bad if you know it's about the same price as a standard usa fender here. I don't know about the custom shop bass though.

Swing G1, a jazz bass, is VERY popular in Korea, for its reasonable price($300) and outstanding quality.

I like Swing because they make ALL their guitars in Korea, unlike Cort and Dame, who have factories in Indonesia and China.

I played some of their stuff at Namm 2009 ,it played well and sounded good for the price i would say it is a good deal, and a nice budget bass.

Thread rez, I know, but I just put one of their basses on layaway at guitarcenter for $220.
It plays phenomenally, has a gorgeous birdseye fingerboard, and a nice flamed maple top in sunburst with a matching headstock. The previous owner put a Badass II on it It looks like the "Jazz Studio" model but the control layout is different. It has 5 knobs and an active/passive switch, and I was told the knobs are Volume, Blend, Treble/bass stacked(neck pickup), treble/bass stacked(bridge pickup) and passive tone. The layout is wierd, but it's an awesome bass at an awesome(r) price! Waiting for Oct. 7th to pick it up from police-watch, or whatever you wanna call their 30-day used gear holding policy. Stoked.

Anyone have any more info on these basses, or what they go for new?

Swing basses have been getting a lot of good comments from Turkish users. I'm thinking of buying one.

I owned a Swing Mojo and liked it. The sound was interesting, not amazing but very usable. The build quality was very good, it looked like an expensive instrument. The neck was very comfortable aswell. Very nice basses but nothing amazing.

I bought one a couple of years ago (Gradient Blue) around $ 350.00. I'm pleased with the overall quality. That maple neck is solid and I don't have to fight it to get that R&B, Blues sound. It is a good bass.

I've had one for a few years now. It's based off a Fender jazz in styling and the pickups. I paid about 225 USD for it, and for the money it is really good value. Nice tone, very playable neck, keeps the tuning well.

Concerning manufacturing, I heard they don't make them in Korea anymore. Actually, mine was made in Indonesia and I believe that's why the price was so reasonable.

I went check them out and ended up getting myself a jazz bass.
My honest opinion, it’s definitely a good instrument for the money.

Cool! That's solid sounding Jazz bass and great playing.

I had one. It had a kinda spalted looking veneer finish. It wasn't a high end model. It was average at best.
