Every Bass player needs a Theme Song

My 'theme song' was decided by my band & fans (theme I take to meaning influences & association). Fernando Saunders expanded my melodic approach to bass, but the band/crowd loves me covering "Live With Me", which is also one of my fave bass licks.
I haven't gone through every page, but I really hope no one's theme is the "My Pillow" jingle. 
The backing band for that track as well as Laurel Aitken's whole album it was off, is The Skatalites. Laurel is know as The Godfather of Ska, though that particular song is more a rocksteady something.

Yes, I am quite familiar with the Skatalites - though I believe they did branch out over time and didn't always just play ska. I usually can tell the difference between reggae and rocksteady, but that track had me flummoxed. I was (and am) leaning towards reggae.
Edit: listening to it again, I am pretty certain it's reggae.
Definitely Ska; rootsy Ska, not “white” uk Ska, but Ska none the less.

It sounds like dub - or at least "dubby" reggae. In addition to the slower tempo, the guitar is playing a double 'skank' on beats two and four which is common to reggae (in ska, the skank is on each beat and tends to be accentuated on the upbeat). And the bassline is syncopated, not the walking-style you get in ska.
The Skatalites were known for ska, of course, but also played rocksteady and reggae.
