Evidence Audio "Melody" Cable

Hello there party people,

I recently bought and reviewed the Evidence Audio "Melody" Instrument cable from BassNW in Seattle. I really think this cable adds clarity to bass (particularly for recording), but I wanted to solicit your opinions.

Have you tried this cable?

What do you think of it?

Are there other cables you think I should test?

Well, I guess I should have done a double blind test with peer review, right? Perhaps publish it in some journals and let the scientific community comment. It is a piece of musical equipment, where EVERY SINGLE THING is subjective. This is music, not science doofus.

What are you even talking about? I don't sell anything. I'm just a guy playing bass and posting my opinions about stuff in my free time. Huh, that sounds a lot like you. My website doesn't have sponsors -- I don't even get free gear to test! I test the stuff that I buy with my own money and I am looking for people's opinions. You're the one who should be ashamed for being such an arse.

I'd do a comparative with the other evidence leads for starters to put your opinion of the melody into a context.
I personally have a lyric and lyric hg.
Both are nice(expecially the hg) but not my favorites at the moment.
The evidence customer service is outstanding though in my experience.
Other cables worth testing...well, there are plenty.
The search option will help you find a number of threads on this subject

Some pointers...maybe they help
Vovox (I like the sonorous)
Analysis Plus( I like the pro oval studio)
Van den Hul ( I like "the second")
Solidcables ( I like their dynamic arc)
Zaolla ( I like their interconnect used as instrument cable considerably better than the instrument cable)

There's obviously plenty more out there...
my current favorites are the vovox ,analysis plus and van den hul.
