Does anyone know if there's any way to mod an Electro Harmonix Memory Toy so that I can tap the tempo? I love the pedal, it doesn't take up hardly any board space and it has all of the delay features I need other than tap tempo. I'd really hate to ditch it for something else.

I don't think it would be possible on a circuit like the MT. If you're looking for on-the-fly adjustments, you might be able to find a bigger knob for the time control. That way you could tweak the speed with your foot.
It has decent sized knobs already, I just don't want to have to wait for the delay to know whether or not it's in time. I guess it looks like an upgrade is in order. You can never have too many delay pedals I suppose.

apart from that i can't think of any other analog tappers.
The Marshall Echohead (digital) has an analog mode, which is tappable with an external switch as does the dd7 IIRC

The Memory Toy is a pure analog delay. You can't have tap tempo on a purely analog delay, unless it has a digital controller also built in, because tap tempo is a digitally controlled feature. The Deluxe Memory Boy and the Diamond Memory Lane are the only two I can think of. Every other delay that has tap tempo is a digital delay.
