And 7.5 months later...

I was going to start a thread like this, but to avoid a flame or two I decided to search the forums.

My name came from a very funny and confusing situation. I went over to my friend's house and his Dad was in front of a window practising slap. SiInce he was in front of a window, he was silloetted (i know I can't spell) so I really couldn't tell he even had a bass in his hand (mind you I could hardly see him at all and his back was turned). All I saw was his right shoulder and arm moving up and down and it looked really bad. I turned to my friend and I said "Dude it looks like your dad is spanking it." My friend thinking that was another word for slap and said, "Yeah he does that alot and it really makes me mad when he does it when people are over because he makes it sound funny." I started cracking up and he said "What" and I said "Do you do that too.?" and he said "Yeah but im not that good at it." Which made me laugh even more. I laughed for the longest time and he didn't even know why. He thought I was talking about slapping the bass and I thought he talking about jerkin off in front of a window (he sounded so serious that I almost believed him for a minute)

Anyway thats what made me spankbass, sorry for the life story,

Well Yottskry is the name of a cleric, disloyal to His Shodow, in the Sci-Fi series "Lexx: The Dark Zone Stories" (called Tales from a Parallel Universe in the US initially) and it was the name I picked for everything else I registered for.

The character was played my Malcolm McDowell and that's him as Yottskry to your left....
