Haha, yeah the ergonomics and weight were the one thing that hooked me on Ibanez after playing fender for so long, they are just a breeze for those long gigs.

The bridge pickup bugged me for a long time when playing an Ibanez. It's like driving a Pontiac LeMans, and knowing that a beefy V-8 would turn it into a GTO. This bass looks aggressive, has that slim neck, and begs for some brutal electronics. I play in a band with it tonight. Can't wait!

It's not like Florida's much of a driving paradise though. When I was in Parkland we had a 300C and a Durango, and they worked perfectly. Move to Zürich, and we get a 3-Series and a Mini.
Sums it up quite well, I think.

Yeah? My gf lives right next to Parkland. You had a 300C? Isn't that the car all the homeys drive with the 20" rims?

My car is by no means a p_ssy magnet, but it holds my rig, is cheap to insure, and cops generally ignore them.

Yep. Fold down the rear seats, put it in diagonally and voilà: T-Bird in Mini. Doesn't work with what we replaced the Mini with:

Damn lucky, I will consider it the pinnacle of my life when I have a '66 FHC in gunmetal. Then I can buy a Tag Monaco and an expensive suit, and drive around with the window open.

Most interesting my Dad's had is the aformentioned Z4. Good car, but no E-Type.

Maybe I'm being a stick in the mud, but I'm not happy that this thread has been de-railed... I keep looking for updated photos of the finished product, and I keep looking at cars... (nice cars, but it's not pertinent material)
