Just run it into the AUX or RETURN of a combo to bypass the preamp like a lot of us do. The rest is what you might call "icing," or extracurricular.

The Head and the Mini are NOT compatible with BIAS FX. Just with BIAS AMP, I already checked that, so you loose all the goodies from FX in the chain. :-(Here is another option, get the Bias bass head and pair it with any bass cab you like. [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
So far I agree with all of you on that, I will most likely get one of those QSC, but I expecting to hear from anyone on the Rumble thread and see if they have tried iPad based Modelers plugged in on the Aux port of that Amp.Your best bet is a powered speaker then, probably a PA speaker but a couple of companies make powered bass cabs.
GK definitely make a powered cab and I think Fender do but you would have to check on the input requirements.
