External Sound Card

Hi, I´m looking for an external sound card, 2 inputs minimum, 1 pre minimum, for live performance so, low latency and solid performance needed. I dont´wanna carry my mixer, gain pots are welcomed.
M-Audio descarted, Alesis IO/2 USB and E-MU 0202 USB 2.0 in the view.
Any comments?

For live application and minimal latency, I'd use ASIO drivers and a firewire connection. It's never done me wrong.

I used a M Audio Firewire 410 and it's great for doing everything that I need it to. Midi for drums and any electronic elements, 2 mics for each guitar, and 2 for bass. Only 2 inputs at a time, but that's all i've found myself to need unless recording live drums and not through the roland kit.

I've been real happy with my MOTU gear... I have the 896HD.. probably overkill for what you want... but I'm very happy with the pre's on it... and I like all watching it light up when I hit my drums
