I have run a 1x15 on each side of the drummer on more than a few occasions.
Nothing wrong with the premise. Of course both are cabled to my Mesa D800.
At one time I ran a bi amped rig with a 15 and two twelves on each side of the stage. The guitar player put a speaker atop each of mine. From the stage it sounded huge. Out in the room not so much.
Good thing with wireless....I can meander out front to take a listen.
yea thanx for the response...I think it balances the sound and sounds fuller and better...rock on...I also run a 15 on each side of the drummer...sounds really good though we're doing small venues. I'm using a Carvin B1000.
Hey, if it was good enough for Jaco........................and have the amp highhat side of the drummer and the other speaker would be on the other side of the drummer for a balanced sound....
