F Bass is back in the house!

sory for being noobish again but what is a F bass?
thats a company? or .. erm can you explain to me pls?

See that "F" up on the headstock? That's the brand. I think they're called that because "Furlanetto" wouldn't fit on the headstock. They're built by George Furlanetto in Canada.

When this bass was first for sale I was soo close to buying it but some one beat me to it.. hmmmm i wonder who??? Congrats man, thats a sweeeeet lookin bass!!

Interestingly, I made the mistake of insuring it for full value for its trip from Israel. My pals at U.S. Customs sent me a bill for an extra $300. This, in spite of the fact that both Israel, the country of the sale, and Canada, the country of manufacture are both free-trade countries. I still did OK on the final cost, though.
