F Bass is back in the house!

Well, I just got my F Bass BN5 back after four weeks in the shop. I had the electronics switched from V/V/T to V/B/T. They moved the bridge pickup pot with the push-pull pickup splitter to the front, and replaced it with a blend pot in the middle.

I'm back in love with this unit now. I had forgotten just how bitchen that bass sounds, and now with the proper controls on it, it'll see a ton of action. They also adjusted the neck a bit to lower the action. Plays nice. I love how it still has a tone control and pickup blend in passive mode.

All my other basses (except the Roscoe Beck) are volume/blend. I prefer that setup so I don't have to keep readjusting my volumes when I want to favor one pickup. Now they're all the same flavor ... vanilla.

Amazing looking bass. I'm sure it plays and sounds amazing too. V/B/T sounds interesting but I am totally used to V/V/T from years of playing Jazz basses. V/V/T works for me.

FBasses kill though. Just had practice last night, it killed. Last week outdoor gig, it killed..., I have never had any regrets aside from not ordering a nice birdseye fretboard. :)
