Fender Deluxe Active Jazz. MZ4xxx serial number. This bass is in great condition. No dings, dents or major scratches. It plays sweet, and it is very versatile with the active 3 band EQ.
Black with tort pickguard and rosewood board. MIM.

I have this same bass and its awesome! This is such a low price especially with a HSC. Would you happen to know the difference in the pups between your model from 2004 and mine which is from 2002? I notice yours has something written on them, are they custom? Someone buy this bass!!!

Thanks. It is a great bass.

I don't know the difference between these pickups and the 2002 ones. These are the original fender "noiseless" pickups and that's what is written on them--- "noiseless".

My 2 cents: The earlier models had the suhr side by side coil pickups and the later ones have the noiseless traditional single coil design. You can tell by either 4 poles per pickup earlier or 8 newer.

You are correct sir!

FWIW, the Suhr pickup has an issue with the strings not sitting over the pole pieces. Or at least it was an issue until I put a new bridge on.

EDIT: Did I already ask you if you were interested in trades? There's a few of these basses floating around that I'm chasing, I forget which is which.
