Facebook Add All Friends to events or groups

Everyone knows what a pain in the butt it is to add a bunch of people from your friends list whenever you play a gig. Create an event, click on whole bunch of people, it just plain sucks to sit there and click. So we created a little teeny tiny chrome extension, whch will run some nifty javascript magic that will do it for you! With just a single click. It works great and best of all its on my dime. (Server space....)

It's free, safe and available for download on the Chrome web store as well to help with installation.

I'll try to keep this thread updated. If you run into a bug, shoot me a PM.

I want to mention that I have my friends grouped, so that people I do not want to invite to anything....are not gonna be selected. Create a group called invitees or something add your friends then when you select invite friends you can filter by class of peeps!

EDIT: Since I put this up, I added it to the Chrome web store as a free download. Really makes it easy to install now.

Great idea! Unfortunately I can't run Chrome on my circa 2003 Mac. Any chance something like this could be ported to run on Firefox/Camino?

You explain it to mine, and I will explain to yours.

Im following the instructions to here "Click on load unpacked extension…Navigate to where you saved your download from above. Select the extension directory you saved your download to. Click OK." yet I cant get it going. ideas?

Yeah I am not being clear enough Are you able to install it at all? I got some feedback from another guy that was pretty much the same thing.

I think that you're pretty clear on it, but when I open up where it should be, it aint there when I check on it manually, it's there. I go thru the extensions, it aint there
