failing with deaf ears !!!!

    hey guys im having trouble with being able to follow and hear the bass in a lot of my beloved punk rock songs , im fine when its bass dominant such as more reggae and bluesey tracks but when it comes to the fast ones such as a lot of screeching weasel for example I find it hard to hear the notes and even the timing being played
    any advice would be much appreciated

    Get a better audio system for starters? :)
    I'm only half joking, with crappy audio systems it's hard to make out the bass.

    point noted , may have to invest in some new quality headphones
