Hey guys,

I´m relatively new round here (just a post here and there...).
My names Benjamin and i´m from Hannover, Germany.

Now that we´ve met, here´s my question:

I´ve been looking for a LMII for a while and now have the opportunity to purchase a used one (only used in a non-smokers rehearsal room) together with a SWR basic 2-way cab for 600€ (roughly 900 $...).

take it or leave it??

Hi, Benjamin.

On this side of the pond, I'd say that it's a decent deal providing that the speakers aren't too tired.

If the cab is toast then it's questionable as the LMII seems to be 677e at Thomann.

The gear seems to be a bit more expensive over here and the availability is also often an issue.

If You can give the rig a good test-run, preferably in a gig, even better.

Regards
Sam

That´s why i think i´m gonna go for it... ...it´s hard to get a LMII even at this price in Germany. And if you buy in the US there´s all the taxes eating up the saved money.

Thanks guys... ...think someones joining the markbass-club!! :hyper:

didn't realize the price difference was that great. WOW. That basic 2-way is one of my favorite 15's ever, so hopefully it's in good condition too. Nice, fairly small 15 (it was designed as an extension for the Basic Black and fits perfectly under it), great sound. Not incredibly loud on its own though.
