I haven't tried this one.
Where's the benefit here and what are your criteria to assess it.
Is there an equivalent pedal without tube that's worse because it does not employ tubes?

Of course I could read a companies write-ups in praise of their own products...
And yes...I am aware of pedals with tubes
But...since it was you who mentioned this I would have thought that you'd have tried and compared it and be able to name things that YOU actually liked about it compared to something without tube ?
What I will 'give' you is ...I do think that if you are after a tube sound, using one or multiple tubes is the only way I know of to do it properly.
With this comes a question; They advertise this pedal, mentioning rare N.O.S tubes;
How will it sound with another tube , should the one it came with break ?

My point really was that FC could do something unique with Sub Miniature tubes like the Effectrode. As for the tubes of the electrode, it’s not like a normal 12A*7 tube. Imagine a tube powered Barbershop or Shallow water! How does that not sound amazing?Of course I could read a companies write-ups in praise of their own products...

Yes, I do agree that it would be an interesting thing if they did something other than Jfet in a pedal(be that tubes or something else).
A tube version of something I know would obviously be interesting in that one could hear the difference made by tubes in this context.

If they are making them, they’re sure not sending them over here to the USA. I’ve been on a waiting list to tell me when they’re back in stock since March.
FYI the last pedal Becos sold through their Reverb shop was in July 2020 (or at least that's their last feedback, see here).

The Becos website lists Gear Hero HQ as their USA distributor, so I went there and got on their waiting list for it. Sorry for muddling up the FC thread with this stuff about Becos, but I was responding to someone else’s mention of them.
I’m still liking my FC Barbershop, my son tried mine and then got one for himself!
