Fake 1978 Pbass in Miami?

Hi guys,
I just ran across this and it just looks "off" to me. Especially the headstock, body profile, and how the fretboard and nut area looks compared to other vintage Fenders I've seen...

Its very rarely that you get to see a 'transition' logo whilst it is mid-transition.

Fake. Japanese. I told that guy he needs to revise his listing before he rips someone off. The truss rod slot, the nut, and the tuner holes/pattern are a dead give away. Probably a nice playing MIJ copy that could fetch 300.00 but not a Fender.

Good lookin' out! I hope he considers changing the ad, some guys would rather brush off that kind of info regardless if someone is mislead. If it doesn't play good, it should at least sound great with the DiMarzio pup.
