Fake Book Recommendations

I'd like to incorporate practicing over fake books as part of my practice routine. Does anyone have any recommendations? Any links to free fake books? Are they even called fake books? Am I using the right term??

The Hal Leonard 'real book' is the standard (many standards to be accurate) sixth edition. The yellow one.

Fake books are not free, however, individual sheets of music can be called up. Google, Guitar chords, "name of the song". The comma and quote marks help in the search. Invalid Link Removed

Fake chord gets it's name from in the 20's and 30's musicians would pass among themselves sheets of paper with the lyrics and chords shown, nothing else. From that they would fake the melody. Later lead sheets would add the treble clef (melody), but still no bass clef so the bassist would then have to compose the bass line he felt was necessary. Most of the music you pull up from the Internet will not have the bass clef, so we still have to compose our bass lines. Not a step for a stepper.
