Double Bass Falk Speakers

I picked up these interesting Falk speakers from Steve who lives near me. I think they sound really great and I had been looking for an 8 inch speaker with a pole mount. For Sale - Small Falk Speakers

I am curious about the dial on the back that goes from Normal to High Range. I assume that controls the horn? Not sure though. Maybe Chris F knows as he used to use these.

While I was there Steve also gave me a great price on an AI Clarus 1 series 2 that was modified by AI to a series 4, which sounds really good with these speakers!

Yes, those little speakers are made here in the ‘Ville by Gary Falk. They are originally designed as full range PA speakers and the dial on the back is a horn attenuator. They are nice little speakers for low to medium volume gigs. I eventually stopped using them only because I wanted more headroom in my everyday rig in case the gig got louder than I thought it would.

Thanks Chris! So if I turn the dial all the way to the left the horn is off?
