Fancy bass

Hey!

Just took a look at your up date for 2011... Looks like things are going well, I look forward to hearing more awesome sounds coming from you...

I was wondering, I know you are into the P basses, and the Jazz basses, the Starfires, and the Thunder birds, etc. etc... But does Mr. Meldal-Johnsen have a guilty pleasure bass? A Fodera tucked away, an Alembic thats been cased only to be brought out when no one is looking. A Ritter hanging on the wall of a far away German farm house, which you escape to when no one is looking? A Dingwall in your top secret fortress of solitude in northern Canada?

Or is it all about thick awesome vintage tone with you? Not that thats a bad thing... I was just wondering if you have one of the many uber-highend bass monsters kicking around.

I wish Steinberger still made a bass like those originals--I would buy one! The new ones are kinda funky(and not in a good way).
I'd use it live for reggae and dub in a heartbeat (i.e. Robbie, Leo Williams, etc.). Would love to have that sucker for flying too.
