Who watches this show, or used to? This is another one of those "discovered it on Netflix" shows where I try to watch one, or two episodes, and then suddenly, it's 3 AM.

I watched it a lot back when it first came out, been rewatching it (and filling the gaps) on Netflix recently too.
Actually, there was a thread on it here just a few weeks back, it's an excellent show (and shows you don't need everything to be CGI!)

I discovered "Firefly," "Weeds," "Breaking Bad," Orange is the New Black," and now "Farscape" through Netflix.
I can't believe how much better sci-fi can be than "Star Trek," (which I have watched in various forms since the sixties.

I finished going through it again a few weeks ago. Hadn't seen it in years and rediscovered it on netflix. The last season was tough to get through.
From my first viewing years ago I remember being all about chiana, but the second time through she just annoyed me. Loud and impulsive and annoying and always causing trouble with her poor decision making skills. Goes to show how perceptions chsnge as you get older.
But that Sikozu. Wowie kazowie.

Firefly is awesome, check out both the UK and US versions of Weeds if you can, Breaking Bad is simply brilliant and I'm looking forward to the next season of Orange is the New Black.
A few Netflix recommendations:
The re-imagined version of Battlestar Galactica (from 10 years back), I think you may like it. Well, I know I did at least!
Jericho is a nice show too, worth checking out if it's still on Netflix.
Warehouse 13 & A Town Called Eureka are both worth a watch too, kinda goofy comedy/sci-fi.
Fringe is another good sci-fi, particularly earlier on though it works pretty well right through. Similar kinda vein to the x-files.
Jekyll is pretty dark and worth checking out.
Spooks [I've heard it was called MI5 in the US] is a pretty good spy show if you are into that kinda thing. The earlier seasons in particular are spectacular TV.
And of course Dr. Who is another one worth checking out, if you are into some cheesy yet seminal sci-fi
there is a UK version of Weeds? I didnt find anything online in my quick search.
I thought that was an original US production. The creator of Weeds is also the creator of Orange is the New Black, Jenji Kohan.
I have watched Dr. Who since the late seventies, when the Tom Baker run made it to the US on Public Television. Since then, I have watched a ton of the Hartnell era, almost all available episodes of the Troughton era, a ton of Pertwee, virtually every Tom Baker, and most of the eighties doctors as well.
Since the new series came out, I have seen every episode multiple times.
For me, the best sci-fi show in history.
I loved Firefly, and I am enjoying Farscape. I just watched the first episode with Chianna in it. So far, I like her.
I liked Star Trek TOS. It was the only sci-fi show in town, back then. Sci fi was usually pretty bunk, with a lot of flying saucers on strings. Star Wars changed all that, and the first movie, and the Empire Strikes Back are two of my all-time favorites. Return of the Jedi didn't do it for me, and killed the franchise. The prequels are uniformly AWFUL, and I loathe them with the intensity of Tatooine's twin suns.
I liked the Original Cast Star Trek movies, for the most part; some of them got a bit boring in places, but I liked them. I watched the Next Generation religiously with friends. That show had its moments, but overall, it was a little "clean."
I like the darkness inherent in Farscape, and the fact that they use Muppets to such great effect. Claudia Black is fantastic, and the stories are creative and interesting.

Shameless is really good. The UK version is good (Ive only seen the first season and part of the second), but I prefer the US take.
All the Star Treks are there on Netflix, was quite fond of TNG and DS9!
Claudia Black and Ben Browder worked well together, the partnership worked pretty well in SG-1 too (though not as well as in Farscape).

A fan of William H. Macy but never felt he pulled it off quite as well as David Threlfall!
I was torn between "I watch it" and "carrots". I've been watching an episode hear and there since it came back to Netflix, because I consider myself a sci fi fan and I haven't seen it all yet. For some reason, I just can't get into it (as mentioned in the other Farscape thread). It ain't bad, but it doesnt suck me in for whatever reason. It's definitely one of the coolest looking sci fi shows I've ever seen.
Same goes for Firefly (watched it all) and Dr Who (loved it as a kid but struggling to get through the new ones); I just can't get into em.
+1 on Weeds (waiting for the Canadian Netflix to get season 6 onwards), Breaking Bad, and Orange is the New Black.
As for sci fi, it pretty much peaked for me when I read a few Arthur C Clarke books, but for tv, Andromeda is my all out fav, followed by anything Star Trek (except maybe Enterprise).
Same goes for Firefly (watched it all) and Dr Who (loved it as a kid but struggling to get through the new ones); I just can't get into em.

Good call on Andromeda, watched that start to finish and it's pretty consistently good (though I wasn't a big fan of the last season, which seemed like an after thought). Definatley worth watching if you're a Star Trek fan.

For those that think you'll try a "sampler" episode to see if you like it, it prolly won't work out. Start from the beginning, some of it gets way out there and you need to follow along as each show builds on what has happened before.
That said if you MUST try one look for an episode called 'Out Of Their Minds' All the characters end up switching bodies. It's a riot and the actors do a great job of imitating each other.
