Fast transit 15" ?

With the new advancements in speakers I was wondering if any manufactures had developed a 15" speaker that had the faster transit response similar to a 10" speaker.... or if this is even possible.

It has always been possible. You can design a 15" system to have the same frequency response curve (below a few hundred Hz, and neglecting any overall difference in sensitivity) as a 10" system, in which case they will also have the same transient response function.

Of course whether the makers make such a product, and whether the market would support it, are separate questions.

However, as the frequency increases, the driver will be more directional, and the bigger the driver, the lower the frequency where directionality begins.
+1. That's why a single driver of any size, or even two for that matter, is inadequate to cover the entire frequency bandwidth.
