Let's pass that process, the end result would be crap.
Weekends work: the neck pocket: First I routed the floor flat at the minimum depth:
Then I tilted the template by 2.5 degree to set the neck tilt angle:

Next step was to drill the clearance holes for the #10 screws that will secure the neck. After using the Bruce Bars to set that alignment, I pulled them out to tap them for 10-32 machine screws.
Tonight I'll attach the fretboard. Hey it's really starting to look like a bass!
