Yep!......Absolutely!.....Wot???......Getting ready to shape the neck. I had @Fat Freddy use a pin template to measure the profile of the Maruszczyk neck at the 1st and 12th frets (I had meant to do this when I was working on it but forgot) As you can see it's got an assymetrical profile which makes figuring out the facets interesting

I decided to put the 2.5 deg neck angle into the floor of the neck pocket rather than the neck so as to avoid problems with the Bruce Bars.

Ok....the fog lifts....I typically draw up 7 facets to shape a neck and usually end up cutting 5. The last 2 usually start to feel like diminishing returns. the first set of 3 will look like this and will establish much of the shape of the neck:

I'll mark these points on the blank at the 1st and 12th frets and draw lines between the corresponding vertices on the neck to start establishing the shape.
