Favorite Album Through The Decades

A single album for a year or a decade is kinda a tough call. These are all formative to me in my youth and in my musical styles to date. although there isn't a lot of Motown here, it is one of my favorite genres.

'60s -
The Rolling Stones - Aftermath
The Beatles - The White Album
Chicago Transit Authority - 'CTA'
Jefferson Airplane - Surrealistic Pillow.
The Beach Boys - Surfin' USA
The Doors - The Doors
Jimi Hendrix - Are You Experienced?

'70s -
The Rolling Stones - Let It Bleed (Dec '69 Eoro-release, Feb '70 US release)
CSNY - Déjà Vu
Van Morrison - Moondance
Fleetwood Mac - Rumours
The Eagles - Hotel California
Meat Loaf - Bat Out Of Hell
Traffic - The Low Spark of High Heeled Boys

'80s -
Dire Straits - Brothers In Arms
Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble - Texas Flood
ZZ Top - Eliminator
Ry Cooder and Steve Vai - Crossroads, movie soundtrack

'90s -
Santana - Supernatural
The Eagles - Hell Freezes Over
Tom Waits - Mule Variations
Jonny Lang - Lie To Me
SRV - The Sky Is Crying
Bugs Henderson - Daredevils Of The Red Guitar

'00s -
Kinda skimpy here -

'10s -
I got nothing here either. I think I'll go CW.

70's
Genesis Foxtrot
Yes Close to the Edge
King Crimson Red

80's
Rush Moving Pictures
Marillion Misplaced childhood
Genesis Duke
Yes Drama

90's
Spock's Beard kindness of a stranger
Genesis No son of mine

00's
Transatlantic bridge across forever
Transatlantic The Whirlwind

10's

And so many more!

Okay, I'm really going to try to stick to one per decade:

60s: Please. Beach Boys - Pet Sounds. 'Nuff said.
70s: I wanna go prog, but I've gotta say Clash - London Calling.
80s: Tough, but Pixies - Doolittle probably gets more regular play from me than anything other 80s album.
90s: Easy. Maybe obscure to some, but Red House Painters I (AKA Rollercoaster) is probably my favorite album of all time (most of the time, anyway).
00s: Going electronic here... Boards of Canada - Geogaddi. If not for this album, I would still be shunning electronic music, and I would be missing out on a lot of amazing stuff (take note, geezers!)

1960s - Rubber Soul - The Beatles
1970s - Thick As A Brick - Jethro Tull
1980s - To Our Childrens Childrens Children - The Moody Blues
1990s - no favorites, too busy raising a family
2000s - Hemispheres - Rush
2010s - Live At Leeds 25th Anniversary Edition - The Who

60's - The Zombies - Odyssey and Oracle.
70's - Queen - A Night at the Opera
80's - Beastie Boys - Paul's Boutique
90's - Guns n' Roses - Use Your Illusion I
00's - M.O.P. - Warriorz

Btw this feels horrible to appear to completely ignore a full decade of other awesome releases. We really should be able to list a dozen or more.
