One day Edgar Meyer will retire and he'll actually release all his sheet music.
I think there's also a large and arguably more important body of unpublished music that Gary Karr has.

But let's hear your argument: Meyer v. Karr, important body of "unpublished" music.
I never said "vs", I said "also".
Gary has been around a long time and he has had many pieces written for him by famous and not-so-famous composers. I suspect (know of a few, and have heard rumors) that there are many we have never heard of and many we have and can't get because they were never published, or are no longer published.
Frankly, I'm not impressed with Meyer's own music, but I'd like to see the stuff written FOR him in published form.
This has turned into such a wonderful thread. Lots of great music and musicians being discussed here.

Oh. From your initial statement, I thought you had some personal inside information on BOTH composer's unpublished compositions.
p.s, you actually said, "arguably more important body of unpublished music".
I said that comparing the works written for Karr compared to Meyer's own works. In that context I'll stand by my opinion.
I once found a piece written for Karr that had no performance score for the bass, which is in solo tuning. He sent me a copy of it right away. Maybe somebody just needs to ask Edgar Meyer about his pieces. The only reason I can thing of him not publishing them is because it can be a lot of work for very little return.
