Favorite Hip-Hop/Rap Tracks

[Funky Ghost]

I've been a huge fan of rap and hip hop. I was the rocker in the 80's who had that music his friends didn't get All the usual 80's rappers are represented. Most of it hugely inappropriate, but then, that was the point. Eventually I started to realize that there was much more to be found that all the machismo and testosterone that was out there ( and don't get me wrong I was into it )

The first rap song that just ticked all the boxes and had me from the instant I heard it was this one. First, can we just all agree it had one of the best album covers of any rap album ever? The groove is brutal and fits the song to a "T", pardon the pun

Not Hip-Hop, but Kelis' first album, Kaleidoscope was produced by a young Pharrell Williams & N.E.R.D., definitely worth checking out.
