Definately Carrot Top.

Edit: Why so much hate towards Dane Cook? His stand-up is funny as s**t IMO. And shame on TalkBass for not mentioning Rodney!

Jim Gaffigan really impresses me with being a laugh out loud funny comedian with actually being family friendly. If I had kids, this would be the comedian I'd start them on.

Saving Eddie Murphy's "Raw" for a couple years down the road.

Jim Gaffigan really impresses me with being a laugh out loud funny comedian with actually being family friendly.

what gets me rolling with his brand of comedy is the funny inner-dialogue voices he does to counterpoint to embellish an already funny story / observation..... really awesome funny stuff.

And yeah, Dane Cook.... funny at times, but really, it's the mannerisms more than the dialogue / jokes that get you laughing.
Just my big fat Opinion.

Eddie Izzard and Billy Connolly are class act comedians!

I used like Denis Leary, but I just don't find him funny any more.

Robin Williams - I just don't like his style of humour. Watching Mork & Mindy as a kid was fine for me as a kid. After that, I really couldn't get into him at all.

Eddie Murphy - like his films but as a stand up, I'm unconvinced!

I'm going to have to agree with people that hate Carlos Mencia. He is a hack, and his show is a tragic, avoidable mess and waste of airtime. It's got the racially charged content like Chapelle's Show, except that it's not funny in any way.
