Favorite Music Videos

Without a doubt, Elektric City by the Chick Corea Elektric Band.

I’m not even sure where to go with this one.... As a teenager, I loved this band. This video is absolutely horrible. Maybe the worst I’ve ever seen. Ugh. I’m happy I didn’t see it when I was young. Lol. Weckl and Patitucci looked they were ready to start a Duran Duran cover band.

I love the cheese factor here. I pull stunts like that to troll the wife, and occasionally, a buddy of mine.

Any Invalid Link Removed that features double bass run through a big muff deserves a video. Add in circus freaks, a pig mask, other inexplicable random things, and do it in one take. It's the perfect antivideo.
How did I know this was Mr. Krinkle? Certainly a memorable vid.

One of my favorites - it’s on the low budget end of the spectrum. Most of this video is sheets of rubber, oats, flour, water, and some camera filters. It’s fairly comic (at least to me...), though I do enjoy the music as well.

I’ve always loved this.

That seems like it would cause motion sickness! Good song though! I always feel Accept are underrated.

To keep it German, I would also say pretty much every Rammstein video is memorable. Some for very different reasons, but definitely memorable.

Favorites include:
Du Hast
Keine Lust
Mein Land
Ohne Dich
Mann Gegen Mann
Amerika
Mein Herz Brennt (Piano version)

That’s what comes to mind here at least.

Pamplamoose has some cool creative videos. I like how they stitch together video clips of the actual takes and audio recording process, so you can see how they get their sounds and build their compositions

Ich Tu Dir Weh is cool. I love the lighted mouth effect, and Flakes sparkle suit is awesome!

Koyaanisqatsi made quite an impression on me when I saw it in the movies in 1983.
This outtake, Pruit Igoe, has a apocalyptic atmosphere in it.

More cityscapes. The clip somehow reminds me of epileptic fits
and conversations from the early '90's.

Another black and white clip. It seems to draw inspiration from Ingmar Bergmans "The Seventh Seal". With Nina Hagen as a female version of death.

This clip made a big impression on me when I first saw it on television in 1977.

Scott Henderson was good...the cheesy synths? Gawd!
