Favorite NEW P-bass builder?

G&L is rereleasing the SB-1 (I found one online for more than you should pay, but there are better places). I'd put it on the list.

The SB-1 is an extremely solid bass. One of the guitarists that i work with has one (took it instead of having a guy pay off a $1200 debt) with a sunburst body and a maple neck. Sounded great and wasn't hard to find a couple different sounds i liked.

I have a MTD 535 which has a 35" Scale and .75 string spacing @ the bridge. Which builder makes P-Basses made to those specs? I dont want to pick up a Bass halfway through the show that has a different scale or string spacing. That is the only thing that has kept me from buying a P-Bass. I want a 5 string, Ash with Maple neck, Sunburst/Tort pick guard with black hardware. Thanks
