I love the Sadowsky pre and also am a fan of the stock pre in the Fender Marcus Miller V (although it perhaps lacks versatility) and I loved the demeter onboard pre the one time I played it. I have the Aguilar OBP-3 in two different basses, one with norstrand big singles, and one with emg 40P and 40CS, and in both basses I found the pre almost unusably powerful and I feel like the Treble knob is set at a horrible frequency. Anyone else have that issue with the highs on the Aguilar? I have a a passive tone on both and find myself not using the pre at all. The Aggie spikes the gain whenever I use it at all even with a compressor.
